Dear Bob and Family, I’m so sorry for the loss of your mom. I loved reading about her- and your dad’s- amazing life together. You were all blessed. Know I’ll keep you close to my heart. With sympathy, Judy Anderson

Dear family, my prayers are with all of you. Dona was an amazing woman and I only knew her a short time. I work at Bickford, where Dona stayed for a little while. I remember she was always smiling. On the way to breakfast she would sing "Alyuetta" every morning. So I taught myself to play it on the piano as she waited for her medication. She will be missed but not forgottan. Sincerely John, The Maintenance Guy.

Deepest Sympathy. I danced with Barb.

Thank you for posting the pictures. Dona was one of my favorite friends at church and in Tourist Club. I will miss her. Her obituary was wonderful. I am so sorry I could not Come to the visitation and will not be able to come to the funeral. My prayers are with all of your family as you say goodbye to Dona.

We enjoyed Dona - and Jim as well - for many years at First Pres. Her obituary is delightful and sparked many smiles. Our prayers and deepest sympathy are with all those she touched.

I was saddened to hear of Dona's passing. She was a wonderful person and a good friend for the many years we lived in Cedar Rapids. Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with all of you.

On behalf of the Tourist Club in Cedar Rapids, I would like to express our condolences to your family. Dona was a long -time , and valued, member of our book club. She is missed by us all. We usually give a book in our members name, and will be donating a book to the Methwick library in her memory.

We read in the Gazette of Dona’s death. It brought back many memories of Dona and Jim who were such great neighbors to us on Knollcrest Court. They were a lovely couple. We missed them after they moved. They are both together now. May they rest in eternal peace. And may God grant their family peace and comfort.
