In my opinion, Barbara Newhall is a legend! First of all, her passion for her Lord led her life! Whether it was music, mission, family, and or helping others, Barb Newhall was there! She was a true disciple of Jesus Christ and she left us a legacy to learn from and follow. With Sympathy to all of her family , Diane Beach. (Kathyrn, thinking of you!!)

A Lifetime of memories! I met you when I was a teen! Your daughter was the director of music at my church. You would come to bell practice sometimes to fill in when we were short members for an upcoming performance. I remember the way you would let me know of a part in a skit that was perfect for me, and somehow, I would be participating. I don't remember asking to participate. That was how you did things. It was hard to say no, but to be honest, it was easy to say yes. That was how you did things. I loved watching you take care of people that needed it, and at their most vulnerable times. I always felt welcome, and even in my darkest days, you encouraged me to trudge on. That was your way. You have seen my family go through some changes but I could always count on you. Thank you! I have a lifetime of memories, but I can't name them all. You will be missed. I can see you trying to convince Jesus to get on top of things and play his part. May you rest in peace, my friend! (However, I don't really see you doing much resting)

May God put her in a special place where she will be watching us, the people who loved and cherished her! May God forgive and accept her soul into the Garden of Eden, near the throne of whom she seeks and loved! Rest in peace my surrogate grandma from George Kofah of Liberia

I’m so blessed to be named after you. And cared by you for so many years. I’ll continue to honor you in so many ways. I love you.

Sorry to hear of the passing of a truly kind lady. Although I had not seen her for years, I know what she did made my life better by her actions in the community.

We only knew Barb for the past 7 years, but she made an impact on our lives. She was our organist at the early morning service, always faithful till the end. She never failed to give me a hug and say "I've awaited your hug my dear"! Her love of family and friends was most apparent, she was always speaking of them in endearing terms. I will treasure the memories...Barb, you will be greatly missed by all of us!

I officiated several life celebrations with Barb and she was a constant and consistent supporter of youth ministry at St. Paul's. She will leave behind a wonderful witness if faith for all to inspired. Prayers for encouragement and peace.

I will miss her wonderful notes she sent..thanking me for the time I put in at the church. I will miss her visits when she came to visit. I guess all in one saying she will be missed. As a 1st cousin she was at the top of the list. Sympathies and prayers to all through this trying time. Much love and hugs.

What an amazing woman Barbara was. My love to the family who will miss her the most. I have fond memories of her in Macomb years go! She was a wonderful positive force in the world!

We send our deepest condolences and know you will be together to celebrate this inspiring and incredible woman and life. Our prayers are with you and your extended family.

Oh how the world will miss Barbara and her delicious spirit! I have so many fond memories of shared family dinners with the Newhall and Bishop/Rousey families. I remember a wonderful trip to Boston and Brockton where Dick and Barbara toured us around and introduced us to East Coast family. What I treasure the most was the extraordinary amount of love and laughter whenever Liz and Barbara were in the same room. Also unforgettable are the numerous times we sang together around the piano or organ. So glad I got to share part of my life journey with Barbara and the rest of the Newhalls. It is the end of an era. Love and hugs to all. I am sure Liz greeted Barbara with a grand flourish of beautiful music upon arrival!

We were deeply saddened to read of your loss of such a loved one. We extend our love, prayers, and sincere sympathies to Barbara's fine family. We loved her also.......
