"The Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord." (Job 1:21) How sad to read this. You must miss him very much. God loves you both dearly, as do we.

I cannot imagine the pain you are experiencing (my eyes are welling up as I write this) coupled with the joy of knowing Joash is with his redeemer.

Brett & Debbie, we have no words to express our pain and grief we share with you. Yes, Joash is with the Lord enjoying His presence, safe in His arms. Beyond the sunset where there will be no clouds, no storms and no pain, you will have glad reunion with him one day. In the mean time, the Eternal God is your refuge and underneath are HIs everlasting arms! Love & prayers.

To all the Mason family, I am so sorry for your loss. I know you have sorrow for your loss on earth, but are rejoicing at the increase of Heaven. Joash is now safe in the arms of Jesus. God will not delay to comfort you here till you meet together again one glorious day. "Let all those who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let such as love Your salvation say continually, “The Lord be magnified!” But I am poor and needy; Yet the Lord thinks upon me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God." -- Ps 40:16-17

Brett, I am extremely sorry for your loss! I can't even fathom the agony you're experiencing. It's often difficult to have faith during a time like this, but I know your strong faith will get you through. In your calmness, I'm certain you will feel his presence, because only his mortal being is gone; his spirit is alive and looking over you and hanging out with you when you do the things you used to do together. My prayers go out to you.

Dear Brett, Debbie and family, We are deeply sorry for the loss of your beautiful son, brother, uncle, fiance'. There are no words to measure against a grief like you are experiencing. But Jesus .... Jesus can heal and comfort and save and bring peace, and will come to your rescue until that great day you are reunited with Joash. May you feel the Lord's presence lift you in these days ahead.

Dear Brett and family, I just saw the news on FaceBook today. Sue and I are so saddened to hear this. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to you and your family. I never met Joash but what I’ve read on FaceBook and this site touched my heart as to what a wonderful young man he is. I wish I would have had the opportunity to meet him here on earth. I sincerely look forward to having you introduce me to him one day in heaven. May the peace of God that transcends understanding be with you and your family. If you need anything, please reach out to us. Love you.
