Remembering one night long ago when we were in our twenties and jim and I were both in the hospital the night before surgery! Ruth ran between both our rooms! She was so encouraging and we had a wonderful visit! Also remembering Christmas parties at the Affeldt home! So many conversations pop through my mind! So sorry for this loss !

I had the pleasure of teaching next to Ruth at old Novak years ago. We shared the heat of a third floor in the fall when our rooms would be in the high 80's or more. Many fond conversations were shared in our doorways. She loved her students and she lit up when she talked about her family. Released from her illness, healthy with the Lord.
