My sincere sympathy to Joyce and the entire family for the recent loss of Tom as he was a great guy and obviously contributed in so many ways to so many people throughout his life! It’s been many years since we last enjoyed his company but it was always great being his company! Many memories left to so many friends and family which will always remain in all that knew him! God Bless! Semper Fi my fellow Marine!

Joyce, Wog and I want u to know how we enjoyed yours and Tom’s companionship. We extend our sincere condolences to you and your family. Loved Tom’s big friendly smile. Kathy Wogen, Mercy Hospital, 1979-1983

Oh, Joyce, I am so sorry you lost your beloved. He leaves a strong legacy.

Joyce, KC, and Micheala, we are so sorry for your loss. My first memories of Tom were actually of my cousin "Tommy" who kind of intimidated me because he looked so grown up, strong and handsome. And then looking so proud and brave in his marine uniform in the photo hanging in Grandma's dining room. Later I remember seeing Tom as first time daddy with this beautiful little blond haired girl who looked just like him! Later, when Tom found his gorgeous wife Joyce, the photos from your wedding showing how happy the two of you and your families were that you had found each other. And one of my favorite memories of Tom was at the big backyard party to celebrate KC's arrival and baptism. I have never seen a man so proud to share his son with the world! So much joy. Then many years later Tom agreed to be a pallbearer for my dad even though he wasn't well at the time. Because it was important to my Mom. I cherish that memory, too. Tom took care of you all the best he could and you in turn gave him comfort and joy when he needed it. KC, your tribute to your dad was beautiful. Just when you thought you couldn't make him any prouder, I'm thinking you hit it out of the park! Thanks for making me cry. Ellen's beautiful singing was such a lovely way to honor him and your family as well. I am sorry that you didn't get to have the comfort of all the hugs and in person sharing of memories today. But know that we care and are thinking of you. There will be time to share later when all this mess is over with. And speaking from experience, you will need it just as much, if not more, then. Love, Julie and family.

Joyce, KC, Ellen, Michelle and family; Greg and I send our thoughts and prayers to you today in honoring Tom. The service (just viewed) was so beautiful. KC, you clearly showed how much you loved your dad. You were very brave to give your address. Ellen's song was gorgeous. Your priest presented a Holy tribute to Tom. As he said, "We cannot take your journey", but know that we are with you in thoughts. Of course there will be emptiness but as Father said, "Let him to go to you, Lord." Blessings to your family. Bev and Greg Slager
