I’m so sad to learn this. We’ve lived behind Dee and Dick the last 18 years and have enjoyed them as neighbors. Dee was certainly a great gardener as we always admired their backyard. I will miss seeing her at Brucemore and TCR. My most heartfelt sympathies go to Dick and the family.

Dick - I have fond memories of talking with Dee during various times, I always needed some information or some such thing and she always graciously responded with what I needed. Made my job a lot easier many. times. Although I never knew your children - was it Tom that was the Civil War expert, and that the CRPL called for information when they got stuck with a difficult question about it? I am thinking he was just in elementary school then. My sincere condolences to you and your family.

So sorry to hear of Dee's passing. So enjoyed both her and Dick as patients at Dr Primmer's office. She was such a lovely lady and my heart goes out to Dick as I am sure he will truly miss her. Prayers for the family coming your way

We are so very sorry to learn of Dee's passing - far too soon. We are remembering our years in Cedar Rapids and all good times we shared...it seems like only yesterday. We are thankful to have known Dee - she was a lovely, kind, thoughtful friend.

I always enjoyed seeing Dee and Dick, avid walkers, out and about in my neighborhood. It was a pleasure to work with Dee at the polls and I will miss seeing her out walking. My condolences to Dick and the family and to all who loved and admired this lovely woman.

Dick, I knew Dee indirectly as a Brucemore guide, and I enjoyed sharing the bits of interesting Brucemore trivia that she gave me to share with my tour guests. I am very sad to hear of her passing, but I know from past experience the love and support felt from friends and family with help a little. Take care.

Dick and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I knew Dee for many years. I played golf with her a lot -sometimes at out of town tournaments. Was always impressed how well she played with a mismatched set of clubs! She was one of the best players in the golf leagues. I think of her smiling all the time - everyone liked her. She will be missed by everyone who knew her,
