Sweet Selma. I read with sadness of the passing of this lovely woman. I knew her because I coached three of her fine sons on the Kennedy boys gymnastics team. They were well raised. Years have passed since I last crossed paths with Selma. She was so pleasant. She already had her angel wings.

Selma was a special lady who was willing to play a part in a play I had written for a Lenten breakfast at Cedar Hills Community Church a few years ago. Since then I considered her a friend. She always encouraged me to express my enthusiasm for Jesus no matter what other people thought. I'm sure she is in Christ's arms where she wanted to be.

So sad the passing of Selma - I know she is in a better place and happy to be with our Lord. Selma was special - kind, soft, gentle, and strong as an ox in her love for others, dedication to the Lord, and especially to her family of whom she was so proud and talked about constantly. May God Bless this special lady!! She is missed.
