I was fortunate to get to know Ray and work with him. What a kind, caring person he was. Ray treated everyone with respect and will be greatly missed. Bob Hebl

Ray was an excellent care giver for those with developmental disabilities in his "second career." He was compassionate, respectful, and always diligent in his work. Everyone enjoyed Ray...he had a great personality. Not everyone could leave a professional career and then enjoy working at Discovery Living as much as Ray did. He was a GREAT person to hire and a wonderful guy to know. Ray, I look forward to seeing you again in Glory!

I had the privilege of working with Ray at his chiropractic office for several years. He was a wonderful boss, but he was a wonderful man. He loved the Lord. We had some wonderful talks. He always took time with his patients. He will be missed.

Am just now learning of Ray's death as I was looking for Margaret Speers' obituary. (Being in Florida since early November, we do not get the Gazette.) My heartfelt sympathies, LaVonne, to you and your family -- you will miss him greatly!! God be with you now as He is with Dan in his new home! Charlaine

Having worked for Art and Dannie Swarzentruber I’ve known Ray since the early 70s and actually worked with Ray over the years as executor for Art and Dannie and trustee for their trusts. He was always a pleasant person to work with and I will miss visiting with him. My deepest sympathies to his entire family.

Lavonne have thought of you often. So sorry to hear of Rays passing. May God keep you close. Praying for you and family.

Lavonne, we were so saddened to read about Ray. Our heartfelt sympathies to you and your family. May the Lord surround you with peace and comfort as you travel this difficult journey and adjust to life without him. A great comfort knowing he is in the Lord’s presence.
