Ikuko Miller

Born on May 12, 1932
Departed on May 19, 2019

I knew Ikuko when I worked at Armstrong's Department Store, she worked there also. Ikuko was a talented seamstress, who made many costumes for me in the 1980's, for which I would like to say thank you. She was a lovely lady. My deepest sympathy, Linda McNamara Earley

My family used Ikuko’s great talents starting in the early 80’s for decades. After my Mom’s passing this month in 2002, my in-laws (Smithson, Cedar Rapids) used her “alteration gifting” for years. I remember dropping off items & picking them up with my mother during my Junior High & High School years. My enduring memory of her was her simple sweetness & kindness — qualities in rare quantity these days. She made the world of those she knew brighter. Blessings to the family, Rod Petersen

What a sweet and talented lady, give her a piece of cloth and some thread and she could make anything. Worked with her for many years and it was a joy to know her.
