I was so saddened to open the newspaper on Monday morning and see Ramona's obituary. She was my fourth and fifth grade school teacher back in 1952-53. I remember her so well, as she was my all-time favorite teacher. We knew her as "Miss Stephen" in fourth grade and "Mrs. Lovett" in fifth grade. She was not only a special teacher but was also a special person. My prayers go out to her family.

I would like to express my condolences to the family of Ramona Lovett. She was my teacher in the fourth and fifth grades way back in about 1952-53. I remember her so well, as she was my all-time favorite teacher. She started out as "Miss Stephen and then became "Mrs. Lovett". I was so sorry to open the paper on Monday and see her obituary. I have visited with some of my classmates from back then and we have talked about our great memories from that time. (I remember Jim stopping by to drop something off when we were out at recess one day He left to a rousing rendition of "Miss Stephen has a boyfriend". My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

So sorry to learn of the passing of "Mrs. Lovett" ..... she will always be that to me. She taught our class in both 4th and 5th grades in Marion. So many great memories ...... Still picture her in her sweater set with a scarf tied at her neck, reminding us that the class needed to quiet down by putting her finger to the side of her nose - each student would mimic her, waiting to see who would be the last of us to notice! My condolences to the whole family.

Jim, Laura, Suzanne. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Nancy and I spent many a meal with Jim and Ramona and always enjoyed our conversations. Ramona was very generous with her time and so proud of her family. To Jim, Laura, and Suzanne, your family is in my prayers during this difficult time.

Ramona has been a friend and neighbor for the last 45 years. She was always very encouraging and interested in our lives. I expect she and Mom are up there playing bridge or sharing books right now! She will be missed.
