Lloyd Thomas Smith, 98, of Reinbeck, died Thursday June 13, 2019, at Parkview Manor, Reinbeck.  Private services will be held at a later date.

He was born November 1, 1920, in Reinbeck, son of George and Ella (Ramsey) Smith. Lloyd married Daphne A. Robinson on April 24, 1943, in Waterloo. Lloyd was an Agent/Manager with Equitable Assurance and a Naval Veteran of WWII.

He is survived by two sons; Thomas Smith of Cedar Rapids and Jerry (Julie) Smith of Reinbeck, two grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents; wife Daphne; and a brother, Harold.
