Marilyn Elizabeth Kiernan, 77, Cedar Rapids, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
Her family includes her husband, Kenny, four children, Tina (Bob) Nelson, Todd (Linda) Kiernan, Traci Sandeen (Rod), and daughter in law, Kelly Kiernan. Grandkids, Josh (Megan) Nelson, Kirsten Nelson, Kandice (Leandro) Martinez, Madison Sandeen, Bryce Kiernan, Hunter Kiernan, and Colin Kiernan. Great Grandkids, Holden, Brody, Paige, Owen, and Luciana. Sisters, Cathy, Lou Ann, Susie, Marie, Tina, Barb, and Mary Jo. Brothers, Roger, Zip, Nick, Mike and Larry and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Troy Kiernan, Parents, Nick and Lidwina Zeimtz, In-laws, Wilson and Florence Kiernan, Brothers, Virgil and Tom, Sisters, Janet and Linda.
Marilyn loved her family and friends, the Chicago Cubs (Go Cubs Go), morning coffee at Kwik Star and bus trips to the casinos. She will be missed by all that knew her.
