Grant Wilcox Bramel, 96, of Cedar Rapids, died Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Meth-Wick Manor. Memorial Service: 10:00 am Friday, January 18, 2019 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Inurnment: Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date. 

Grant was born January 27, 1922, the son of Willard and Merlie (Wilcox) in naval Decatur, Illinois. He was married to Bettye Burgess on April 25, 1943 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Grant served in the United States Air Force as a fighter pilot in WWII in Italy. He was employed with Quaker Oats, Farm Elevators in Chicago, Ft. Dodge, and Cedar Rapids. Grant was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Cedar Rapids. 

Survivors include his daughter, Sandra Raymon of Cedar Rapids; grandson, Jonathan (Laurel) Raymon of Louisville, Kentucky; and a granddaughter, Sara Raymon of Cedar Rapids. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Bettye and his parents.
