Although knowing Lois for many years, I got better acquainted when I drove Lois and my Mom to the Oakland widow ladies luncheons. She had a wonderful personality and we became closer friends. We are sorry for your loss. We know you will really miss her. How great it is though to know you will be with her again in Heaven. Lovingly, Sharyl and Kenneth

I want to express my heartfelt condolences and prayers to Ms. Lois's family and friends. She was such a tremendous influence in my life and honest, yet always kind and caring , never judgemental spiritual mentor. Ms. Lois was a sweet neighbor and a dear friend , a "woman of noble character" who will forever be missed. My adopted grandmother and that of my son. She loved up on us at every given opportunity. Was a good and faithful servant in her church. Loved her family like nobody I've ever known. Every time she spoke of her late husband had a childlike smile and a twinkle in her eye. It gave me so much hope and inspiration as a wife. I loved her sense of humor and we shared a love and interest for all things Amish. Thank you for the love and the laughter and the wisdom imparted...you will forever be missed and I will forever be grateful to God for his placement of you in my life and Eli's. We will meet again one day in Glory! Love, prayers and peace to all. ????
