My deepest sympathies to you and your family Dave. I still remember conversations with your dad at Hiawatha. Loved how your dad and mine loved their Cubbies and both WWII vets. Cherish all the wonderful memories you had with your dad. Carol Kesl (Richard's Rm. 83 daughter)

Uncle Dick was such a special person to so many & we never heard an unkind word from him. One memory was when he taught us Wolverton siblings to sing, "Be kind to your web-footed friends". ... you know the rest. So many more memories of both of you when we were children. Thank you for all the fun & kindness. love to all. Deanna & Larry

So sorry to hear of Dick's passing. He was a great guy. I got to know him at the Hiawatha Care Center where my mother lived until last December. Always enjoyed talking sports with him, especially the Cubs. He really knew his baseball. Best wishes. Kevin Bader

My mother, Margene Rule, and I both worked with Dick at Sears for many years and fondly remember visiting with him on many occasions. He had a great sense of humor and I am sure you miss him greatly. Take care, Pam
