Megan L. Zeigler, 33, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away on September 5, 2018 at her home.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12th, 2018 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Services will be held on Thursday, September 13th at 10:30 a.m. at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.  Burial, with military honors, will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Megan LaVonne Zeigler was born on November 7, 1984 to Keith and Susan Neil Zeigler in Cedar Rapids.  She was a 2003 graduate of Center Point-Urbana High School.  Following her graduation, she enlisted in the United States Army and proudly served for 2 years.  She was deployed and stationed in Tikrit, Iraq.  After serving in the military, she attended Southwest University of Visual Art with an emphasis on graphic design.  Megan enjoyed drawing, painting, and especially writing poetry.  Her dogs were everything to her.

She is survived by her father, Keith (Judy) Zeigler of Robins; step father, Robert (Quag) Pepmeyer of Rio Rancho, NM; siblings, Ben (Cristy) and Kim Cross both of Clovis, NM; Danielle (Pat) Kremer of Center Point; Nicole (Mike) Flockhart of Cedar Rapids; Matthew, Kathleen and Erika Pepmeyer; nephews and nieces, Benson, Liam, Kaylee, Karson, Mikayla, Lexi; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Megan was preceded in death by her mom, Susan Pepmeyer; grandparents, Frederick Zeigler, Bob and LaVonne Neil and John McBride; and cousin, Levi Scheidel.
