Dear John and family, Please accept our sincere sympathy. Steve and Karole Johnson

Dear John, Please accept my condolences. May Anne rest gently in the palms of God’s hands.

JL: Our hearts are with you and your girls. We admired Anne as an intelligent and fun loving friend. Our love. Brenda and Tim

I have known Anne since she was 4 yrs old & living in Akron, Oh. She & her mother, Joan, & I became steadfast friends which we remain today. Anne was an exceptionally precocious child which is no wonder she excelled in her academic pursuits & legal career. I will always remember her as such a sweet, fun , accomplished woman who was such a devoted daughter to her mother, my dearest friend, Joan. I am grieving along with all of Anne's loved ones & may warm & loving memories fill your hearts. Special thanks to you, John for keeping us all so informed of her vigil throughout these months; your love for her shown through. Sending prayers for all Ann's family, Debbie Brubaker

So many memories: from the very young Anne acting as a surrogate older sibling to my toddler Dave, to following her extraordinary achievements thru high school via my best friend Joan, to the magical marriage to John, to seeing (albeit at a distance) her daughters grow into the same wonderful persona as she . . . In many ways we consider you to be family just as Joan and I have always been “sisters”. We grieve with you.

John, Megan and family, I was very saddened and shocked to read that your beloved wife and mother Anne passed away. She sounded like a kind, funny, smart, generous and loving woman who touched the lives of so many. My deepest sympathies and condolences to you both and to your family.

John, Megan, and Emily, Andie and I are so saddened by the news of Anne's passing and our deepest sympathy to all of you during this time. There are so many fond memories of Anne and the girls growing up! She had an energy and spark about her that was infectious. The world has lost a good soul to the light. All our love, Jamie and Andie.

Thinking of you all during this sad time. Anne was so full of energy, kind, giving and humble. I was proud to call her my friend and lawyer! Peace be with you.

I am a court reporter in the First Judicial District in Waterloo, Iowa. I last did a trial with Anne in April that has now been appealed and I just "listened to her voice" on my recording this last week and thought of her and wondered how she was doing. She was a great advocate for her clients and we enjoyed working with her in the courtroom. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.

I am sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my prayers.

John you and your family are in my thoughts. I was not fortunate enough to meet Anne (we kept missing opportunities) but she seems like she was a lovely person. Knowing how amazing you are this does not surprise me.
