Mae Grace Huggins, 88, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.  Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery will follow the service.

Mae Grace Huggins was born on August 12, 1929 in Ismay, Montana the daughter of Lloyd and Rose Brown.  Mae married the love of her life, Paul, on May 31, 1955 in Kahoka, Missouri. They raised six children, Larry (Esther), Terry (Val), Nancy (Dennis), William (Christine), Robbin (Jon II), and Londa. She spent her life babysitting and spoiling her family.  Mae was a homemaker, devoted wife, loving to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. 

Mae enjoyed attending the country music shows in Branson, Missouri and spending time with her husband just driving around. She had 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. Mae and Paul are thankful to their very special friends/godparents, Gary and Susan Kuene of Marion, who have been part of their lives for over 4 decades.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Rose Brown, her siblings Laura, Alice, Roy and Burt, her son Gary, 1 grandchild and 1 great-granddaughter.

A memorial fund has been established in Mae’s name.
