Dawson Brown, 20, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics surrounded by his loving family and friends. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4 to 7 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 11 A.M. at First United Methodist Church of Marion.
Dawson was born on March 15, 1998; the son of Tim and Sue (Eggen) Brown. He graduated from Linn-Mar high school in 2017. He worked for Knutson Construction and Vector Construction. His passion was playing his drums loudly and motorcycle rides. He loved pulling pranks and making everyone around him laugh; but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Left to cherish Dawson’s memories are his parents Tim and Sue, siblings Lindsay, Sydney and Brycen. Paternal grandparents Willis and Beverly Brown, of Middletown, IA, Maternal grandfather Robert Eggen, of McGregor, IA; also surviving are many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
