Frances Purdy

I was so sorry to see that Frances died. She was a very well liked member of Four Score for many years. My husband Dick and I knew her and Ralph as neighbors and thru Collins. Both of them were friendly and kind ---- we liked them both a lot! With sympathy to the whole family, Jean Deasy

I'm so sorry; what a loss to you all. Her smile lit up a room and made everyone smile too. Her lovely hat complimented her always-positive personality.. What a joyful upbeat lovely lovely woman! I'm so glad I had a chance to know her.

To the Purdy families, On behalf of the family of the late Jo Ann Marshall, we extend our heartfelt condolences to you. Frances was a dear friend to our Mom, and her co-worker at The Gazette for many years. When Jo Ann passed suddenly several years ago, Frances made an extraordinary effort to attend the wake service. I’ll never forget the tears of love and sorrow that poured from Frances’ eyes when we greeted each other. I don’t know remember exactly how Frances was able to make it to Cedar Memorial, perhaps a friend or relative brought her, but I do know it was very difficult for her. That memory alone speaks volumes as to her loyalty, and the type of person Frances was, especially to those who were most important in her life. We only knew Frances from a distance, but we knew she was one of our Mom’s friends from work, and that they enjoyed each other’s company, especially after they both retired. We are forever grateful to Frances for making our Mom’s life more enjoyable. God bless her beautiful soul. You were fortunate to call her your own.

Dear family, it is my joy recalling the lovely, respectable woman Frances. We were a congenial group of ladies making work a pleasure at the Gazette. She joins many journeying before leaving many grateful hearts having known her. May the Lord bless you and keep you . . .

Sorry to hear Frances death. Take care.
