Casey Lee Robbins, 30, of Marion, passed away unexpectedly doing something he loved to do, make and create art.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at The Longbranch Hotel (90 Twixt Town Rd NE, Cedar Rapids) from 2-9 pm.  Please bring a memory to share. Casey may be gone, but our memories with him will remain in our hearts.

A devoted son, brother and daddy, Casey was born on May 22, 1987, in Lexington, Kentucky to Marty and Donna (Crow) Robbins. Casey was kind hearted, always putting others first.  He was a hard worker with a witty sense of humor and appreciated the ‘little things in life’.  He was a tinkerer, an artist, and a joker.  He was full of love, especially for his children, and he will be missed.

Left to cherish Casey’s memories are his parents, Marty and Donna (Crow) Robbins of Marion; sister, Krista (Robbins) Rettkowski, of Marion; two brothers, Derek Robbins, of Marion and Nathan (LaShae) Robbins, of Cedar Rapids; daughter, Johanna “JoJo” Robbins and son, Brighton Robbins; Lindsay Robbins; two grandmothers, Janice Schoon, of Marion and Arlene Crow, of Hiawatha; seven uncles, Charles “Chuck” Robbins, of Cedar Rapids, Jeff (Chris) Robbins, of Texas, Randy (Kristy) Schoon, of Toddville, Rodney Schoon, of Cedar Rapids, Rob (Tamara) Schoon, of Texas, Sonny (Marcia) Crow, of Marion and Gary Crow, of California; three nephews and one niece, Devon and Dakota Rettkowski, Macksen and Emersyn Robbins; many cousins and all his “brothers from other mothers” and friends.

He was preceded in death by his baby brother, Joshua Robbins; his grandfathers and aunt, Helen (Crow) Norris.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in memory of Casey.
