I worked with Ann at Mercy Flowers and Gifts. She was so sweet and always had a smile to share. She loved floral designing and it was a pleasure working with her. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends. Marcy Pennington - Cedar Rapids

The world has lost a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile. Although I did not know her well and did not see her often my heart broke to hear of her passing. Heaven has a wonderful sweet new angel. RIP Ann. Tasha Brehm - Sarasota

Sorry to hear. Prayers of blessing and comfort for the family. Enjoyed many occasions with her parents in Iowa City when the Tacks visited: family celebrations and post Iowa football game gatherings.

We were sorry to hear about Ann.Ann was a part of a great team of teachers, staff, and support at Arthur school that will be remembered for a long time.

I was deeply saddened to hear about about Mrs.Tack. I grew up with Andy and was at their house often. She was very caring...a true and kind heart you don’t see often and always had a smile on her face. Heaven gained a great soul. RIP Mrs. Tack.

We were saddened this morning to read the obituary of Ann. The Tacks were wonderful Washington Warrior supporters who we were proud to know. May you find strength in the memories you cherish and find peace. Regards, Wally and Beth Sheets

I was Ann's para at Johnson. The world has lost a lovely lady. She touched so many lives over the years and all who knew her were blessed. God be with you and the family. You have so many happy memories to recall and support you during this difficult time.

Ann, Mrs. Tack to us, was a wonderful person and a great teacher. Sorry to hear of her passing.

We are saddened by the loss of this sweet, caring friend. She brightened many of my days with her thoughtfulness, sharing her talents of flower arrangements. May the many happy memories of family times bring comfort to her wonderful family.

This was very sad news to receive. Ann was such a great teacher for our oldest daughter, Maggie, and then... a staunch music fan who graced us so often with her appreciative, cheerful presence. We were lucky in our business to count audience members and customers as our friends, and Ann was certainly one of them!

Our hearts are aching. Ann was a delight with her soft smile and gentle manner. Deepest sympathy to her family and all those who miss her deeply.

My heart is heavy---Ann was a dear soul, a gentle giant. Teaching with Ann was a wonderful chapter in my life. Hold your good memories close to your heart.
