Charlotte Marie (Goswiller) Kuriger was born on October 19th, 1921 to Grover P. and Hazel F. (Brown) Goswiller.  She graduated from West Waterloo Schools in 1939.  She married the love of her life and best friend, Roger Kuriger on July 3, 1942.

Charlotte worked for Simmons Perrine as a legal secretary for 17 years, retiring in 1989.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church for over 50 years.  She taught Sunday school and served as Church Clerk for many years.   Together, she and Roger enjoyed bowling, golfing and traveling.  They eventually made their home in the Methwick Community, at The Manor.  Charlotte made many wonderful friends there.  She became quite the socialite, and even was nicknamed “Queen Victoria” of her dining table.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Left to cherish Charlotte’s memory are her three nieces.  Michelle Wenger of North Carolina, Nancy Scott of Washington and Marilyn Ventarude of Florida; and a very special friend, Sonja (Joe) Novak.

Memorials may be directed to the Meth-Wick Community in memory of Charlotte.
