Steven Craig Faas, 67, of Hiawatha, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at Oldorf Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.

Services will be held on February 20, 2018, 11:00am, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, Iowa.   A visitation will be Monday February 19, 2018, from 5-7 pm, at the Chapel of Memories Stateroom, Cedar Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. 

Survivors include sisters, Lynda (Bob) Hembera, of Hiawatha, and Vicky (Dennis) Jobe, of Toddville.  Nieces and nephews, Cathy (Kraig) Paulsen, Jeff (Joann) Hembera, Stephanie (Adam) Pledge, and Christopher (Toni) Jobe, and 9 great nieces and nephews, and 3 great great nieces and nephews (with I on the way!)

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and a great nephew.

Steven Craig Faas was born November 15, 1950 in Hiawatha, Iowa, of parents. James and Jeannette Faas.  He was a machine operator for 30 years with Quaker Oats.  Steve proudly served in the United States Navy from 1970-76 during the Vietnam Conflict abroad the USS Windom County.  He continued to serve with the Naval Reserves as a Sea Bee.
