It's very difficult to know that we will no longer be seeing her beautiful bright smile and hear her genuine caring voice at the office. I’m so sorry for your loss. I took swimming lessons at the YMCA with Holli. She was determined and strong. She loved learning and improving her stroke. I knew she had cancer, though she never told me and never complained. There wasn’t an ounce of self-pity in her, just commitment to health and wholeness and self-discipline. She inspired me. I will picture her as I remember her: swimming lap after lap, confidently, methodically, beautifully.

Dr. Goedken, I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Holli’s passing. I was just in for a visit this past January. She was always so bright and cheerful. At the same time she was not afraid to be very direct as to my well being and what steps I should be following to stay healthy. I heart is lightened hearing of how courageous she was and how much joy she brought to people. Holli and I were best friends all through childhood, we lost touch in high school after I moved away. I was her patient, but if I had a daughter I would have wanted one like her. She was always so caring and explained everything very carefully.
