On March 28, 1942, Frannie was united in marriage to the love of her life, Roger Huff. The union would produce three children, Vicky, Ronald, and Rodney. Roger served in the Navy during World War II and after being discharged in 1945, began working for Northwester Bell in Marshalltown. In 1950 the family moved to Dubuque when Roger accepted a supervisory position with the telephone company. In 1954, Roger was transferred to Cedar Rapids, and the family move there. Frannie worked at Killian’s and later Sears. She also worked part-time at Northwestern Bell. In 1980 Roger retired, and they moved to Green Valley, Arizona. Roger passed away in 1989, and in 1991 Frannie moved back to Cedar Rapids to be near family. On April 8, 2000, Frannie and Arnold Best were married. Arnold passed away in 2003.

She is survived by her daughter Vicky (husband Ted) McPherson, grandsons, Scotty (wife Trish), Sean (Wife Shannon), and great-grandchildren, Camryn, Samantha, Paige, and Allison, whom all live in the Cedar Rapids-Iowa City area.
