Amy Hoyt, 40, of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Oldorf Hospice House surrounded by family.  

Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at St. Ludmila Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Visitation will take place from 9-10:30 am prior to the service. A private family burial will follow.

Survivors include her husband, Craig Hoyt, mother, Pat Stuckenschneider, sister, Trudi (Kent) Fry, brother, Dan (Yvonne) Stuckenschneider. Two step-sons and one step-daughter. Three nieces, two great nieces and one great nephew.

Amy was preceded in death by her father, James Stuckenschneider, her sister, Kelly Bormann and her grandparents.

Amy was born on September 25, 1978 in Cedar Rapids to James and Pat Stuckenschneider. Amy attended St. Ludmila and graduated from Jefferson High School in 1996. Amy worked at Pharmacy Care Associates as a pharmacy tech. She met the love of her life, Craig, whom she later married in 2009. Amy enjoyed spending time with family especially her nieces, great nieces and great nephew.
