Terry, Joyce , and Family Deepest condolences on the loss of your brother (and uncle). Wish you peace as you move through this time of sadness. Deb Green

Tom Moran was an educator that improved a school with his presence. It was my pleasure to know and work with him for many years. He has a way of getting to the heart of an issue that I appreciated. I celebrate his life, as he made a difference in many ways. He impacted many educators and educated many young people. William C. Jacobson - fellow educator.

My sympathy to the family of Tom Moran. The Cedar Rapids Community School District was fortunate to have him be a part of it. He was an excellent Principal at every elementary school he was at, including the new Madison Elementary school I attended in the early 1960s.

The Moran Family: Tom was a great educator, I worked with him at the Educational Service Center. So sorry for your loss, prayers for your family. God Bless.

The Moran family, So very sorry to hear of your loss of Tom. Tom was my first principal and sixth principal. As a new teacher at Johnson he was very supportive and caring. To again work with him at Grant Wood was a wonderful experience. Hold those good memories close to your heart. Blessings to all ---- Carol Olson

Terry, Joyce and family. Tom was a member of our faith sharing group at St Matthew’s. He had a dry sense of humor, a gentle smile and a humble intelligence. He shared those qualities with us during our discussions. We will miss his physical presence, but, nonetheless he will remain a member of our group.

To the Moran Family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Tom was a great friend of our folks, Joe & Pati Worden and they taught together in Lansing many years ago. Our Dad loved Lansing and all the close friends that he made and we remember Tom coming to visit many times when we moved to Manchester. He was such a great man and friend and we all thought of him as our "handsome" Uncle. One of the greatest gifts we can ever receive is the gift of fond memories as they last a lifetime. Sincerely, Erin Worden & The Worden Family

Terry, Joyce, Mark, Paul and family. I am sorry for your loss. I will miss Tom at our get together events and meals. He was always a pleasure to see and talk to.

Mr Moran was an awesome principal. He was the first Principal at Madison when my sisters and I came there the first year. I was a 5th grader, my sisters 4th and 2nd grade. He was so kind and caring. He always was interested in whatever we were doing. Great memories!!!!

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Moran family. As former educators in Cedar Rapids, we had the privilege of working with Tom ! He was very supportive of the staff and created such a positive atmosphere with the staff and students! He was one of the best in his profession, using common sense and kindness to resolve issues at work! He liked attending community performances like a Christmas holiday event or a play! After our retirement, we so enjoyed a short visit on the way into a performance! Tom will be missed by the many friends he touched!
