Lana Mae Davis, 68, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. A visitation will be on Friday, August 31, 2018 at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel Stateroom from 4-7pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 11 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.
Lana Mae McCain was born on November 6, 1949; the eldest daughter of Herman “Dannie” and Doris (Kidder) McCain. Lana retired from Quaker Oats after 35 years. Her greatest joy in life was her family, but she also enjoyed books, puzzles, and putting a smile on the face of everyone she met.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Lana is survived by her mother Doris McCain; brother Dannie McCain; Sister Karen (Gary) Ferguson; two sons, Troy (Trish) Davis and Kenny (Nancy) Davis; five grandchildren, Randy, Briana, Samuel, Dennis and Dylan; a niece and nephews and many friends.
Memorials may be directed to the family of Lana Davis.
She will forever be remembered as the crazy lady with the long red hair.
