My mother and Dorothy's mother, Julia, were good friends. When I was 4 years old, Dorothy asked my mother if I could be in her wedding. When Dorothy asked me if I wanted to be a flower girl, I excitedly said "yes", although I didn't have a clue what that meant. It was the most exciting day of my life! A beautiful wedding...a beautiful lady.
