We will remember Don for his care and concern for the many students he wooed into the teaching profession through his twenty years at Kirkwood Community College supervising field experiences. Students always told me, his Dean, that he was passionate, positive, reassuring, and extremely ethical. As a fellow administrator, I personally benefited from his advice and perspective whenever I asked for his thoughts, and I will always miss his twinkly eyes and hug! Hundreds of students, their families and their communities have been touched by Don's dedication. He truly made a difference!

Sorry to hear of the passing of a great man. He was one of my favorites while attending Prairie. Firm but fair, also trying to do what is right to both the students and teachers.

I just saw Don's obituary in the paper and wish to offer our condolence to all the family. Don was always so friendly to me and my wife whenever we saw him at events and Vito's. I will miss his great smile and friendship. I know Chris and Suzanne from teaching and Emily and Kylie through Iowa Skipper Jump Rope Camps. You have many great memories I am sure to remember Don. You all are in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Deb,
and family. I am so sorry for the loss of your family member.
When we lose a loved one who has meant so much to everyone and their legacy they have left behind for us to remember them by, it is time for the younger generation to move upward and carry on those family traditions that are so important to us all. God bless your family.

God bless all the Jennings family and extended family on the loss of Mr. Don Jennings. Mr. Jennings was my Assistant Principal at Prairie for many years and I appreciate everything he did for me. He loved working with students and I think that extended into his work at Kirkwood later. Praying for you all during this sad time.
Deb and family thinking of you and yours and sending love.
