Doloras “Dee” June Anderson, 87, of Cedar Rapids died Friday, October 20, 2017 at Meth-Wick Community in Cedar Rapids. She is now reunited with her beloved husband Jack.  Per Dee’s request there will be no services or visitation. A private inurnment in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include her, two daughters; Sue (Randy) Edwards of Indianola, Gail (Tom) Frasher of Cedar Rapids and a son William (Pam) of Vinton. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Trisha and Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Jack” Anderson in 2016 and a grandson, Travis Anderson. 

Dee was born on July 15, 1930 in Rockford, Illinois the daughter of Edward and Josephine (Cannova) Huntley.  After high school graduation, Dee earned her nursing degree from the Cedar Rapids Mercy School of Nursing.  She was employed at St. Luke’s Hospital as a Registered Nurse.   She married Raymond “Jack” Anderson on September 10, 1953 in Anamosa. 
She and Jack took many trips throughout the United States as well as over the world to include Russia, Egypt and China.  Dee enjoyed anything with crafts, but especially enjoyed painting. Her greatest joy in life was the time spent with her beloved family. Dee’s memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
