Memorial

Edna M. Mosher, 78, of Shellsburg, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her home.  Visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 11 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories.  Private inurnment will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Edna was born on January 15, 1939 to William and Margaret Smith in Monticello, Iowa.  She was united in marriage to Marvin A. Mosher on June 16, 1956 in Dubuque, Iowa.  Edna enjoyed spending time with her family and being a homemaker.  She loved gardening and would can the vegetables that came from it.  She was a lifelong learner and enjoyed reading (especially about history).  Edna believed in holistic care.  She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend.

Survived by her husband Marvin of 61 years; children, Carol (Kenny) Tuttle of Marengo; David (special friend, Faith) Mosher of Cedar Rapids; Terry (Melissa) Mosher of Vinton; and Cyndy (Steve) Logue of Cedar Rapids; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Edna was preceded in death by her parents; brothers; sister; and a son, Marvin Mosher, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
