Bruce A. Kahle, 72, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at West Ridge Care Center in Cedar Rapids.  Visitation: Sunday, July 16 from 1 PM to 4 PM at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories with Certified Celebrant Paula Meyer.  Burial, with military honors presented by the Marine Corps League, will be held at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.

Bruce was born on October 26, 1944 to Robert and Martha Kahle in Englewood, New Jersey.  Bruce served his country in the United States Marine Corps during the Viet Nam War from 1963 and was honorably discharged in 1968.  He was employed at Rockwell Collins as a programming specialist for many years.  Bruce enjoyed softball, bowling, karaoke, shooting pool, dancing, traveling, listening to country music and oldies, and practice target shooting.

Survivors include his son, Richard (Fiancé, Cori Pitcher) of Cedar Rapids; grandson, William Kahle; brother, Bob (Tillie) Kahle of East Brunswick, NJ; sister, Melodye (Jack) Deberadinis of Scarborough, ME; former wife and close friend, Dee Kahle, of Cedar Rapids; 2 nephews and 3 nieces.

Bruce was preceded in death by his parents.
