I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Anthony's passing. He was a big part of my life, as my Veterinarian during the 50's and 60's, until I moved to Michigan. He was a very compassionate caregiver for my dogs, and a caring friend. RIP, dear Dr. Anthony!

So sorry to hear about your loss. Thoughts and prayers to your family!

You have lost a true Mason, gentleman and father. He lived, worked and served with honor and respect for all. My you hold his memories in your heart always. Peace be with you Brother Russell.

I'm so sorry, Shirley. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. He was a remarkable man and a good friend.

Dear Shirley and family, We read of Russ's passing with deepest sorrow. We remember so well the various Shrine activities we shared with you and my parents, Bob and Fern. Also we recall Russ's kindness and care for the dogs Princess and Jason, which my parents dearly loved. We are so very sorry for your loss of Russ.

Dear Shirley...So sad to see of Russ's passing...You and all your family will be in Myra's and my prayers. Please stop in to say hi whenever you are at the mall, it is always good to see you. You and Russ are part of our "Holleys Family".

Shirley-- I worked with Doc from '62-'63. I have always remembered him as a very kind, gentile and VERY PATIENT boss. I loved being a " desk gal". I'm sure I gave him a lot of stress with my work, but he was always kind. I believe I worked the same time as Pat Hubbard. My father-in- law, Paul Chapman knew him well from the Masons. I have thought of him a lot through the years.I will always have a place in my heart for him. My deepest sympathy to you and your family.

My father Bob Schubert considered Russ one of his closest friends. I always enjoyed talking to him about dogs and horses.

Shirley and family, I have been associated with Doc for many years through so many Masonic organizations. We are both charter members on the Cottage Grove Place Board of Trustees, for which he was so proud. He was the consummate loyal Mason and hard working and proud Shriner, both locally and nationally. He will be greatly missed, and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
