Elizabeth Lee Adair, 70, of Evansdale, passed away Saturday January 21, 2017 at her home.  A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 Wednesday January 25, 2017 at First Christian Church in Center Point

Elizabeth was born April 20, 1946 in Cedar Rapids to Robert and Onolee (nee Fossett) Abernathy.  She grew up in Center Point and attended school in the area.  Elizabeth was a homemaker all her life. 

She is survived by her husband Vance Adair of Evansdale, her son, Douglas Stephenson of Minneapolis, MN, a daughter-in-law Mary Stephenson, four granddaughters; Sheena (Dawn) Meade-Stephenson of Dixon, IL, Shauna (Michael) Holden of Oelwein, IA, Shaundelle Meade-Stephenson of Waterloo, IA, Samantha (Matt) Potter of Waterloo, IA, ten great-grandchildren, two sisters; Doris (Terry) Bisland of Cedar Rapids and Rose Hines of Center Point, IA, a step-daughter; Kayla M. Adair, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by a son, Tracy Stephenson, two husbands; Alvin Stephenson and Donald Starks, four sisters, a brother and her parents.
