Norman D. Long, 90, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017 at Meth-Wick nursing home following an extended illness. Private services are being held.
Left to cherish Norman’s memories are; 2 nephews Michael (Linda) Barrigar; Don (Diann) Barrigar; 3 nieces Sharon (Robert) Jadrnicek; Linda (Dennis) Krog; and Karen (Derald) Dosland.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Janet.
Norman was born December 8, 1926 the son of Lowell and Neola (Lindsey) Long. He was an electrician and electrical estimator for Acme Electric. Norman enjoyed boating with Janet, his boxers and spending time with his family. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
