Memorial

Ralph G. Bell, 86, of Mechanicsville, died Saturday, August 26, 2017, at his home. Funeral Service: 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories with visitation 2 hours prior to service, beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

Survivors include his; daughter, Patricia (Gary) Trout of Mechanicsville; son, Timothy Bell (significant other Pat) of Mechanicsville; daughter, Sherry Bell of Cedar Rapids; ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; few great great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Kathy Bell of Center Point. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan Pearl Bell in 2015; a son, Mike Bell. 

Ralph was born July 5, 1931, the son of Charles and Hazel (Schoonover) Bell in Greely, Colorado.  He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and helping his grandkids with their projects.  He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
