Eva B. Mosness, 104, of Cedar Rapids passed away on Sunday November 6, 2016 at her home. She resided in Cedar Rapids for over 70 years.

Services at 11:00 AM on Thursday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 PM on Wednesday.

Survivors include a daughter Bonnie Brown; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Burton, her parents, a daughter Barbara Jean Hall and a grandson Franklin Keith Brown.

Eva was born on October 11, 1912 in Boone, Iowa the daughter of Grover and Mary Staley Phipps. She married Burton Mosness on July 28, 1934 in West Union. Burton passed away in 1986. 

Eva was a home maker and a devoted wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She enjoyed playing bridge and was a member of a local bridge club. Eva was an avid reader and especially enjoyed the time spent with her beloved family and friends. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
