Memorial

Bonnie Marie Poulson, 83, of Swisher, died Saturday July 30, 2016 in the Solon Care Center from a short illness.  A Gathering will be held for the family and friends on Thursday August 4, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel.

Survivors include her sons; Mark (Debbie) Poulson of Shueyville, and Todd (Rhonda) Poulson of Amana. Also surviving are four grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and her dog Tater.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Richard Poulson and a brother, Charlie Bunten.

Bonnie was born January 15, 1933 in Vinton, Iowa, the daughter of Harvey and Fern (Berry) Bunten. She married Richard Earl Poulson on April 16, 1955 in the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Bonnie was a machinist for Rockwell-Collins in Cedar Rapids. She enjoyed biking, fishing, hunting and crossword puzzles. She also loved her family very much and cherished the time spent with them and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
