Lena Janae Karlen, 5 weeks old, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at home in her parent's arms.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 4, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Ressler officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:00 am at the church on Friday. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Surviving are her parents, Matthew and Jessica Karlen; siblings, Elijah, Mira and Evan; paternal grandparents, Delton and Jacalyn Karlen of Sun Prairie, WI; maternal grandparents, Don and Jan Bray of Lyons, NE, Jim and Kathy Wiese of Lincoln, NE; maternal great grandmother, Betty Lilly of Lyons, NE; uncles and aunts, Christopher and Sarah Karlen and their children, Quinn and Vale of Woodbury MN; Jonathan and Nikki Karlen and their son, Callan of Sun Prairie, WI; Nicholas and Megan Wiese and their children, Cayden, Avery and Addyson of Wahoo, NE; Nathan and Laura Wiese and their children, Mila and Charlie, of Pender, NE.
