Edward Feddern, 82, of Marion, passed away February 24, 2016 in Florida. A Celebration of Life Service will be on Monday, February 29, 2016 at 11 AM at First Presbyterian Church of Marion with a visitation held one hour prior. 

Edward, the son of Edward Sr. and Neva (Oliphant) Feddern, was born March 16, 1933, in Cedar Rapids, IA. Edward went to Franklin High School graduating in the class of 1951. Upon graduation he worked as a painter for Iowa Manufacturing, and he then joined the Army. In 1953 he married the love of his life Kaye Lambert. From this union three daughters were born. Edward then continued to work for Iowa Manufacturing for 45 years until his retirement in 1996. Edward has been a member of First Presbyterian Church of Marion for many years. He was a major Hawkeye and Cubs fan. 

Edward was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Edward was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Norm Feddern, Don Feddern, and Gary Feddern, sisters Jayne Zitek, Pat Penrod, and infant sister. 

Those left to cherish Edward’s memory are his wife of 62 years Kaye Feddern, daughters Deanna (Richard) Delp, Donna Feddern, Sheryl (Mike) Sanders, sister Peggy (James) Bacher, brother Dick Feddern, sister-in law Carole (Bill) Donohue, sister-in-law Carol Feddern, sister-in-law Sue Feddern. Grandchildren Amy Penrod, Melissa Delp, Jared Strait, Sarah Jordan, Emily Hahn, Corina Sanders, Derek Strait, Jesse Sanders, 13 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and all his Clearwater Beach friends. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
