On April 28, 2016 Gerald (Jerry) Stephan Grzeskowiak passed to his heavenly home after a long illness. Services at 10:30 AM on Monday May 2, 2016 at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Burial with military rites at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born March 9, 1939 in St. Paul, MN to John and Marie Grzeskowiak. He married the love of his life, Annette Sterner, in May of 1964 at Holy Trinity Church in Winsted, Minnesota.

In June of 1961, Jerry graduated from St. John's University in Minnesota with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry. He served in the Army from 1961-1963 as an Artillery officer. He was employed for 30 years at National Oats (Ralston Foods) as the Quality Assurance Manager.

Left to honor and cherish Jerry's memories are his wife of 52 years, Annette; sons, David (Maggie) and Steve; his brother, Tom (Rose), and many other relative and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Harry and John Grzeskowiak, and many aunts and uncles.

Jerry was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

Jerry enjoyed golfing and fishing, and he liked the challenge of doing crossword and Soduko puzzles. He enjoyed many fishing vacations with his sons.

Jerry is remembered for being a person who never complained to the end of his life with all his health struggles. He had a strong faith in his Lord and Savior.

He will be remembered and missed for his kind and gentle personality.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at Mercy Hospital, Hall Radiation, Physicians Clinic of Iowa, and Mercy Hospice for all of their hard work and wonderful care.
