Ann Bever Smith, 67, of Marion, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha. A Celebration of Life will be held from 4-6 pm Friday, April 29, 2016 at Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Ann was born December 19, 1948, the daughter of James D. and Audrey (Jones) Bever, in Cedar Rapids. She was married to Keith Smith on June 27, 1992. He passed away on April 9, 2016. Ann worked for many different retail stores throughout her life. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and needlework. Ann had a very close circle of friends with whom she would get together for birthday lunches. They will all be missed greatly. Another close companion of hers, was her dog Lilly.
Survivors include her two brothers, Tony (Karlett) Bever of Marion, Tom (Linda) Bever of Marion; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
Memorials may be directed to the ALS Association in memory of Ann.
