Donald Michael Stewart, 63, of Cedar Rapids, died September 1, 2015 at his home. A military service will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at the Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel, Iowa.
Donald was born December 23, 1951, the son of Harry and Dorothy (Herring) Stewart in Topeka, KS. He worked has a machinist for many years, and was very skilled at what he did. Donald was a member of the United States Army, and in his spare time, he greatly enjoyed fishing.
Survivors include his three daughters, Jessica Stewart, Shelly Stewart, Nicole Stewart; four grandchildren; father, Harry Stewart; brother, James (Christee) Stewart; sister, Jennifer Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents.
