Frances M. Foley, 86 of Cedar Rapids died Thursday October 1, 2015 at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha.
Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM on Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rev. Ivan Nienhaus will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cedar Memorial Westside Chapel from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday and at the Church after 9:00 AM on Friday.
Survivors include her two daughters, Diana (Chuck) Langguth, Teresa (Chuck) Strain all of Cedar Rapids, and a brother Donald “Babe” Perrin of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Ray, a son Steven and 6 brothers.
Frances was born on October 14, 1928 in Mystic, Iowa the daughter of LeRoy and Minnie Reeves Perrin. She married Raymond C. Foley on February 18, 1956 in Cedar Rapids. Ray passed away in 2011.
Frances worked at several retail stores in Cedar Rapids and retired after many years of service. She was a faithful member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Frances enjoyed bowling, dancing, playing cards and especially the time spent with her beloved family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother whose memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
