Eileen Esther Klein, 88, of Cedar Rapids passed away July 26, 2015 at Hiawatha Care Center in Hiawatha.
Graveside funeral services will be Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 11am at Cedar Memorial Park in Cedar Rapids, IA. Please arrive at 10:30am for a short gathering. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Eileen was born March 3, 1927 to Louis and Minnie (Hanke) Martens in Castilia, IA. She married Donald L. Klein July 9, 1946 in Castilia, IA, he passed away in 2000.
She is survived by her daughter Karyn (Tom) of Chicago, IL; her brother-in-law, Lloyd Thornton; and many nieces and nephews.
Eileen was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Don; and her 8 siblings.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
