Uncle Bob was my Godfather. I remember his Wednesday evening visits to Cedar Falls when I was a little girl. With him, he usually brought a small gift for me and he had dinner with our family. One of my most cherished gifts was a small yellow bunny with a wind-up key and it played music while the neck moved. When I wound the bunny too tight, Uncle Bob bought me a new one! I remember him as a great father and kind uncle. He was devoted to his family.

I am sorry to hear of your Dad's death. Thinking of your parents, all of you, and growing up together on Dennis Drive.

I always made it a point to visit Bob everytime I was in Iowa. Last time I saw Bob was over breakfast at the Higley mansion back in July. He was a very good man and i am sure he has a place in heaven.
