Jon & Theresa - My mother and I were deeply saddened to learn about Myrna's passing, and both of us remember her fondly from Bever Avenue. As our next door neighbor, Myrna babysat me when my mom started teaching at Franklin, and later, I had the opportunity to babysit Jon. Myrna was always kind and friendly, and I remember her warm smile. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.

We feel fortunate to have met Myrna ---- truly a classy lady. We will remember her for her communication skills and awesome quilted jackets!!! Sending special thoughts from Wisconsin. And a special prayer for Tom --

Tom and family.... Was so sorry to hear about Myrna's passing. She was a remarkable woman. I feel blessed to have gotten to know her some while I was helping take care of her. She was so kind and was a beautiful person inside and out!! May God Bless you and your family and may you find comfort knowing she is at peace. Remember the great times you shared and may those get you through the rough days ahead. Again, my sympathies to the family!!! In Peace, Lisa R.

Tom and family--- I am so very sorry to hear of Myrna's passing. What a special lady who always had the kindest smile and words. So glad we got to visit at the airport last February--- it was good to see you so happy together. Hold those good memories close to your heart. God bless you as you remember Myrna and the special lady she was. Sincerely, Carol Olson

My sincere sympathy to Tom and family. Myrna went to Franklin High School the same time that I did. She was always nice to everyone. Myrna is just as pretty as she was in high school. God's Blessings to Mryna's family. Judy Tucker

Jon and Theresa, I was your mothers best friend in Franklin High School and we remained friends until her death. Your mother was one of a kind as a both as a teenage girl and a woman. full of adventure, kind, compassionate, bright and inquisitive. She knew the value of true friendship and I have no doubt that she lives on in both of you and your children. While she carried on the Finnish traditions of her parents so you could enjoy them, the traditions are now passed to you and in doing so her legacy to you will continue down through the generations to come. Judy Cassidy

Sorry for your loss. I was a classmate of Myrna's class of '57. She was a month and 13 days older than me. Ron Augustine

To Myrna's Family Sincere condolences for the loss of a great human being. Myrna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed. I always enjoyed interacting with Myrna. She had a sharp mind and was a good communicator. We will miss her too. Dave

To the family of Myrna - I was a classmate of Myrna's (class of 1957) and always enjoyed knowing her. I moved away from Cedar Rapids many years ago and came back for family visits and class reunions. Myrna was a wonderful person and I know that you all will miss her very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this very difficult time. Marian Newman Parsons

I have moved from Cedar Rapids 15 years ago so was shocked to hear from Myrna's death. You have my sincere sympathy for your loss. I have many fond memories from the days we lived on Bever Avenue raising our children and participating in Jaycee activities. I'm sure Myrna will be missed by many.

I'm saddened to hear about Myrna passing away. I had the pleasure to work with her for many years in the design community. She was truely a genuine and caring person and I have many fond memories of her. Myrna always had a postive, upbeat attitude. Please accept my condolences. Sincerely, Leslie French
