Memorial

Gail E. Hanson, 85, of Marion passed away on June 4, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospice.   A private family burial to take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.

He was born in Watertown, South Dakota on February 24, 1929 to Leonard and Effie Hanson. Gail married Mae Herbold on July 23, 1950 in Marion. He was a hard working self-employed carpenter for many years. He enjoyed making wood crafts. We miss him a lot and love him a lot. 

Gail is survived by his wife Mae; sons: Terry Hanson and Jerry Hanson both of Marion; sisters: Bonnie Nussele and Karen Rogers and brother Larry Hanson.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers Darrell, Ken and Richard and one sister Carol.
